About the role

Seeking a Senior Salesforce Solution Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud. This role supports public-sector programs across case management, licensing, service operations, and related workflows. The position ensures solutions align with program objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long-term platform strategy while leveraging declarative and programmatic capabilities to build scalable and maintainable systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish development standards, mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and promote consistent standards across teams.
• Lead integration designs, blueprinting, and configuration strategies.
• Develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and system integrations following established engineering practices and platform governance.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend best-fit approaches.
• Review Salesforce Spring, Summer, and Winter release notes to identify breaking changes, deprecations, new settings, and feature impacts.
• Assess platform updates and their impact on existing systems and integrations.
• Collaborate with vendors, product owners, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to plan and execute required updates and deliverables.
• Apply AI-driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including identifying practical use cases, incorporating intelligent automation, and ensuring responsible and compliant use of emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience across configuration, customization, and solution design.
• 5+ years of strong hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration development in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of experience supporting public-sector, regulated, or compliance-heavy programs, or equivalent experience in complex multi-team environments.
• 2+ years of experience leading technical discovery, design sessions, or development teams in a senior or lead capacity.
