Job Description Our client is a seeking a Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst to join their team. It will lead efforts to bridge business needs with technology solutions by providing advanced support and guidance to business partners, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. This senior-level position involves technology discovery, in-depth process analysis, business requirements definition, strategic involvement in corporate initiatives, and functional oversight of complex projects. You will be a member of the Business Engagement Team and serve as the project liaison between partner subject matter experts and the Information Technology team. This highly visible role requires effective communication, critical thinking, active listening, proactive stakeholder alignment, and the ability to translate business needs into clear, complete, testable, and actionable requirements. Additionally, the Sr BSA will document end-to-end business processes, identify process impacts, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria, lead quality test planning and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage deployment communications, and support post implementation continuous improvement. This role also requires strong knowledge of Commercial processes across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, R&D, and Customer Service, with hands-on experience leveraging CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, to support Commercial workflows, reporting impacts, downstream handoffs, and business outcomes Major Duties and Responsibilities: Shape Demand: Support and partner in the identification and prioritization of business opportunities / ideas, focusing on long-term strategic goals. Lead the cultivation and refinement of these business ideas into actionable demands including comprehensive business cases.Process Analysis: Conduct detailed assessments of current business processes using flowcharts and analytical tools to document and help identify gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement which can be addressed through the use of technology.Business Requirements: Lead the elicitation and documentation of complex, cross functional business requirements for corporate and strategic priority initiatives.Requirements Quality and Traceability: Develop requirements that are complete, clear, testable, actionable, and traceable to business objectives, process impacts, systems, assumptions, dependencies, risks, acceptance criteria, and open questions.Process Documentation: Prepare documented current-state and future-state process understanding summaries for assigned initiatives, including process flows, key stakeholders, systems impacted, handoffs, exceptions, reporting needs, common user pain points, dependencies, and risks.Salesforce and Commercial Workflow Expertise: Build and apply working knowledge of Salesforce Commercial processes, including Accounts and Sales Hierarchy, Opportunities, Forecast Submittal, Opportunity Support Requests, Contracts, Territory Management, Large Account Planning, Oil Performance Test, and related Commercial workflows.Quality Assurance: Ensure business requirements are met by partnering with the QA team in blackbox testing and leading UAT efforts, including test strategy, planning, execution, and issue resolution along. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Engage in post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communications between business partners, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders.Meeting Preparation and Follow-Up: Prepare for assigned business meetings by reviewing available materials, clarifying the objective and expected outcome, identifying relevant questions, and sending timely summaries that capture decisions, action items, owners, due dates, risks, unresolved questions, and next steps.Stakeholder Alignment and Action Tracking: Maintain stakeholder action trackers for assigned workstreams, proactively follow up on open items, confirm ownership and due dates, and escalate unclear, conflicting, or missing information with recommended options.Active Listening and Business Partnership: Demonstrate active listening by accurately restating stakeholder needs, confirming understanding before responding, asking purposeful non-redundant questions, and ensuring documented outcomes reflect business decisions and next stepsMentoring and Training: Guide less experienced and new BSA team members. Also work with Training and Development to create effective training media and training plans for end users of solutions. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience: 5+ years of progressively increasing responsibility as a BSA, or equivalent business experience, with extensive involvement in process analysis, process design and documentation, and involvement in complex large-scale and high-impact projects / platform implementations that add significant business value, is requiredCRM system experience in Salesforce, is requiredBachelor's Degree is highly preferredCommercial, R&D, Marketing, Sales or Revenue Management functional experience is desired.CPG Manufacturing or food service industry experience is helpfulFluent in desktop, project management, process flow charting tools (i.e. Visio, Lucid, etc.) is preferred.Pricing automation or Trade Management System familiarity would be great.MicroStrategy or another BI platform (i.e. PowerBI) experience would be helpful.PLM (process lifecycle management) process/theory understanding is wonderful. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Commercial processes including Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, R&D and Customer Service, with experience leveraging CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) to drive business outcomes.Ability to perform system and process analysis duties including flow charting and value stream mapping using process and software documentation tools.Has direct participation and experience with multiple software platform implementationsPrior experience with process improvement methodologies and tools (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Green/Black Belt, etc).Understanding of data systems, databases, software development life cycle, and information and application architectureExperience leading the development of UAT and QA testing plans and cases.Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologyProject management skills a plusExcellent interpersonal skills. Salary/Rate: $60-$65/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract to hire position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
