Senior Sales Transformation Manager
Role Overview
Drive the commercial success of Genesys’s product and transformation initiatives by owning how sales readiness, revenue potential, and risk are evaluated across a high-impact portfolio of programs. This role directly influences which initiatives progress to market, how they are positioned commercially, and how effectively they translate into incremental bookings and customer value. At Genesys, you will operate at the intersection of innovation, AI-driven customer experience, and enterprise go-to-market strategy, ensuring that new capabilities deliver measurable outcomes for customers and the business. You will partner closely with senior sales leadership and cross-functional teams to shape decisions that impact revenue growth, market competitiveness, and customer experience. This position offers visibility into enterprise-wide initiatives and the opportunity to influence strategy at scale while expanding executive advisory and portfolio leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end governance of the One Genesys Framework (OGF) sales portfolio, ensuring initiatives meet commercial readiness standards before advancing through key decision gates
- Evaluate and quantify commercial risk, revenue impact, and field readiness across a portfolio of concurrent programs, influencing progression decisions and escalation paths
- Develop and apply a structured framework to assess sales readiness, distinguishing between manageable risks and those requiring escalation or delay
- Drive alignment between Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Partner teams to ensure initiatives reflect real-world market conditions and field constraints
- Shape executive decision-making by presenting synthesized insights, trade-offs, and recommendations to VP and SVP-level stakeholders
- Identify cross-initiative conflicts, sequencing risks, and capacity constraints that impact overall portfolio performance and sales execution
- Lead business case development, including revenue modeling, adoption assumptions, and scenario analysis in partnership with Finance and Sales Operations
- Influence initiative design by ensuring commercial viability, pricing defensibility, and competitive positioning are embedded early in the lifecycle
- Facilitate readiness reviews and coordinate stakeholder alignment to ensure Sales organizations are prepared for successful execution
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior sales leadership, providing independent, data-driven perspectives that challenge assumptions and strengthen outcomes
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in program management, business operations, enterprise sales strategy, sales operations, or go-to-market roles with progression into strategic advisory responsibilities
- Demonstrated success operating within complex, matrixed organizations with cross-functional stakeholder alignment
- Strong expertise in sales strategy, sales operations, or enablement within enterprise environments
- Proven ability to assess commercial risk and translate insights into actionable business recommendations
- Experience exercising independent judgment in ambiguous, fast-evolving situations with competing priorities
- Ability to develop business cases, financial modeling, and ROI analysis
- Background in enterprise software sales or B2B sales operations
- Experience with governance frameworks, portfolio management, or strategic planning at scale
- Advanced proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, or similar platforms
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Genesys products, platforms, or cloud-based customer experience solutions
- Prior partnership with senior revenue leaders such as a Chief Sales Officer or equivalent
- Experience supporting channel or partner-led sales models
- Program management certification such as PMP or equivalent
Compensation
$134,700.00 - $236,900.00
