About the role

The US AWS Global Sales organization is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist, Generative AI/ML to join the fast-growing Generative AI Specialty sales organization. This role involves identifying high-value customer opportunities, engaging with customers to understand their needs, and guiding them in adopting AWS Generative AI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate customer adoption by defining and implementing GTM strategies within your assigned accounts and technology domains.
  • Ideate with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with your deep technical expertise, and helping solve their most compelling business problems.
  • Act as the front line within your accounts for specialist customer engagement in your domain.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions addressing your customers' needs.
  • Build and innovate: co-develop GTM motions on new product launches and work with product teams on the creation of new services.
  • Partner with system integrators to deliver on customer projects.
  • Spearhead market expansion by pinpointing new customer segments and Gen AI use cases.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously strengthen AWS's Gen AI value proposition.
  • Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform product roadmaps and enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop and deliver compelling ROI to drive adoption of AWS Gen AI solutions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
  • 5+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.
  • 3+ years of AI/ML sales experience.
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
  • Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business.
  • Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects for global customers.
  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS.
  • AI/ML degree/certifications.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $157,100.00 - $212,600.00 USD annually.
