Senior Sales Engineer (US Based) | Identity Security

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical sales cycle for enterprise opportunities, including discovery sessions, presentations, demonstrations, proposals, RFPs, evaluations, and handoff to post-sales teams
  • Architect and position Identity Security solutions aligned with customer business outcomes and security strategies
  • Lead and execute Proof of Concept / Proof of Value (POC/POV) engagements in complex enterprise environments
  • Act as a trusted advisor for CISOs, technical leaders, partners, and enterprise stakeholders throughout the sales cycle
  • Drive deal momentum by proactively removing technical blockers and accelerating evaluation cycles
  • Build and expand technical relationships with enterprise customers, channel partners, and strategic accounts across North America
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to increase technical win rates and support predictable revenue growth
  • Represent Segura in webinars, events, partner enablement sessions, and industry-facing technical initiatives
  • Mentor and support regional Sales Engineers, contributing to technical and commercial best practices
  • Act as a customer advocate internally, collaborating with Product, Architecture, Delivery, and other cross-functional teams

Main Requirements

  • Strong experience in Sales Engineering / Technical Sales roles within enterprise technology or cybersecurity environments
  • Strong experience in Identity Security, IAM, PAM, IGA, CIEM, ITDR, or related cybersecurity domains
  • Proven experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and conducting successful POCs/POVs
  • Strong business-oriented mindset with the ability to connect technical solutions to business value and customer outcomes
  • Experience engaging executive stakeholders, including CISOs and senior leadership teams
  • Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills for both technical and executive audiences
  • Experience working alongside channel partners, VARs, and enterprise sales organizations
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across technical, commercial, and cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, authentication technologies, and integrations
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as MEDDPICC, consultative selling, or value-based technical sales methodologies is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Fluent English is required
  • Spanish is a plus
