Senior Sales Engineer, CBS

As our new Senior Sales Engineer Commercial Buildings, you will be driving sales growth and serving as a trusted technical resource across Texas and the surrounding region, leveraging deep knowledge of pumps, HVAC, and plumbing systems to position Grundfos as the brand of choice in the Commercial Buildings market.
Responsibilities
- Create lasting partnerships with distributors, consulting engineers, and contractors while growing Grundfos market share through expert technical guidance and compelling solution selling.
- Act as the go-to technical resource for distributors, consulting engineers, contractors, and end users by providing expert guidance on product selection, application engineering, and troubleshooting for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and technical training sessions that communicate Grundfos' value proposition and drive sales through our partner network.
- Manage and grow customer accounts to increase market share and share of wallet, building long-lasting relationships across the Region.
- Register and manage opportunities, quotations, and revenue pipeline in our global CRM tool, supporting Regional Managers with sales analytics via SAP BW.
- Continuously develop expertise in commercial building HVAC, plumbing, and control systems, including emerging innovations to recommend optimal solutions to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical field. In lieu of degree, 3-5 years direct technical experience with pumps and/or HVAC.
- 5-7 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering in the HVAC or plumbing space.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and business analytics platforms.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience with pumps, pump systems, motors, and drives in pumping applications.
- Background in channel management and partner relationship development within engineered solutions or industrial products.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $79,100.00 - $122,000.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
Schedule
You'll be available for travelling up to 65 days per year.
