The successful candidate will translate complex compensation data into actionable insights, evaluate financial and operational impacts, and influence decisions across Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead compensation plan performance analysis, scenario modeling, and effectiveness reviews for senior leadership and Sales leaders, translating results into actionable recommendations.
- Develop financial, statistical, scenario, and sensitivity models to forecast incentive expense, evaluate plan alternatives, quantify operational and financial impacts, and support compensation governance decisions.
- Develop recurring performance reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that explain compensation results, payout trends, forecast-to-actual variances, and business impact to leadership.
- Create scenario-based calculators to help the sales force estimate potential payouts based on specific deal attributes.
- Ensure accurate and timely commission and bonus calculations by validating source data, reconciling system outputs, documenting exceptions, and maintaining effective financial and operational controls.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and Legal to model, design, document, implement, and evaluate commission and bonus plans, including eligibility, measures, payout curves, accelerators, caps, and financial cost.
- Produce and analyze reports related to commissions to monitor performance and identify relevant trends.
- Offer valuable insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis of commission data.

- Aggregate data to participate in compensation market surveys.
- Investigate and resolve commission and bonus inquiries, payment discrepancies, and data exceptions by applying plan terms consistently, documenting conclusions, and communicating outcomes to employees and leadership.
- Assist with the global commission and bonus payout process, including manual compensation adjustments, calculations, and approval processes.
- Create mechanisms to improve process efficiency.
- Perform complex data analysis to drive business process improvements.
- Identify gaps in compensation data, workflows, and system controls, then design and implement automated solutions that improve accuracy, scalability, auditability, and processing efficiency.
- Conduct global compensation market, geographic differential, cost-of-labor, and inflation analyses to support pay recommendations and maintain competitive, equitable compensation practices across locations.
