We need to produce HTML fragment with sections: headings

for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We need to parse the job description and extract substantive content: About the role (intro), Responsibilities (duties), Requirements/Qualifications (minimum qualifications, special requirements), Skills maybe, Benefits? Not mentioned. Pay? Not mentioned. Schedule? Not mentioned. So we should only include sections that have real content: maybe About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications (maybe combine), Skills (maybe from special requirements). But we must not create sections with placeholder text. We need to decide which headings to use: The instruction says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can choose among those. We need to preserve all substantive information: The posting includes: - Intro: "Working at the Cal/OSHA means much more than showing up for a job. You will be able to work on programs that are vital to the health and safety of our community, work force, and the state. We recognize the strength in teamwork. We know that by encouraging collaboration and diversity, educating employers in best practices, and protecting the health and safety of employees through enforcement of regulations will benefit our economy as a whole. Be part of a team that prides itself in making a difference for Californians. What will be the difference that you make for California? Cal/OSHA is seeking a Senior Safety Engineer (M&T) (SSE) to join the team at the Cal/OSHA Enforcement Mining and Tunneling Division (M&T). Under the direction of the Principal Safety Engineer, Mining and Tunneling with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Enforcement Branch – Mining and Tunneling (M&T), the Senior Safety Engineer, Mining and Tunneling has full supervisory and oversight responsibility of a local DIR-DOSH Mining and Tunneling District Office without detailed supervision or review. The Senior Safety Engineer (M&T) supervises, plans, schedules, directs, assigns, evaluates, and reviews the work of a multi-disciplinary staff composed of Office Support (e.g. OA, OT, and/or MST), and safety engineers, engaged in the administration and implementation of the Cal/OSHA program. The Senior Safety Engineer (M&T) is responsible for the training, upward mobility, and maintaining discipline of employees under their supervision. The Senior Safety Engineer (M&T) ensures that the office functions and operates daily in accordance with DIR-DOSH directives, rules, policy and procedures and that staff promotes DIR-DOSH Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals. The Senior Safety Engineer (M&T) sets priorities, evaluates performance of all staff and travels throughout an assigned area of the State." - Working Conditions: location, description of work environment, physical demands, travel requirements, etc. - Special Requirements: need to submit Statement of Qualification (SOQ) with specific prompts. - Application instructions etc (to be removed). Also "Who May Apply", "How To Apply", etc are application instructions, should be removed. - Also "Final Filing Date: 9/30/2026" is application instruction; should be removed. - "Note: Resumes and other materials will not be evaluated or considered as a response to the SOQ." is part of special requirements? It's about SOQ; we can keep as part of Requirements. - "Applicants will also be evaluated on how clearly and concisely their qualifications are presented throughout the SOQ (including grammar, spelling and punctuation)." Keep. - "Applications received without the SOQ addressed as stated will not be considered." Keep. - "Who May Apply Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available). SROA and Surplus candidates are given priority; therefore, individuals with other eligibility may be considered in the event no SROA or Surplus candidates apply. Applications will be screened and only the most qualified applicants will be selected to move forward in the selection process. Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s)." This is eligibility; could be considered Requirements. - "How To Apply Complete Application Packages (including your Examination/Employment Application (STD 678) and applicable or required documents) must be submitted to apply for this Job Posting." etc is application instructions; remove. - "Required Application Package Documents" list; remove as application instructions. - "Questions regarding reasonable accommodations may be directed to the EEO contact listed on this job posting." EEO boilerplate; remove. - "Equal Opportunity Employer ..." remove. Thus we keep substantive content: About the role (intro paragraph), Responsibilities (duties of Senior Safety Engineer), Requirements/Qualifications (minimum qualifications, special requirements, eligibility, SOQ instructions), Skills maybe from special requirements (experience, supervision, etc). We could combine Requirements and Qualifications into one section, but we need to decide headings. We should not create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections because not present. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. We need to use

    for section headings. Use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Thus we need to identify lists: duties (supervises, plans, schedules, directs, assigns, evaluates, reviews work; responsible for training, upward mobility, maintaining discipline; ensures office functions; sets priorities, evaluates performance, travels). That's a list; we can put in

      • . Working conditions also have list of physical demands; could be a list. Special requirements: list of SOQ prompts (explain background, describe experience, etc). That's a list. Eligibility list: individuals who are currently in classification, eligible for lateral transfer, etc. That's a list. We need to preserve all substantive information; we should not drop any. We need to avoid duplication: there are duplicated lines like "Maintaining a stationary position at a desk, in a chair for extended periods, including but not limited to, during meetings, training, or workplace inspections." appears twice? Actually there is similar line earlier: "Maintaining a stationary position at a desk, in a chair, and in front of a computer screen, for an extended periods of time" and later "Maintaining a stationary position at a desk, in a chair for extended periods, including but not limited to, during meetings, training, or workplace inspections." They are similar but not identical; we should keep both as they are distinct? Might be considered duplication but we can keep both; but we could combine? The instruction says remove duplicated lines. So we need to detect duplicate lines and remove duplicates. Let's identify duplicates: - "Maintaining a stationary position at a desk, in a chair, and in front of a computer screen, for an extended periods of time" - "Maintaining a stationary position at a desk, in a chair for extended periods, including but not limited to, during meetings, training, or workplace inspections." These are not exact duplicates; they differ. So keep both. - "Moving/walking and standing for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, on slopes, uneven, rough, wet, and/or slippery surfaces/terrain" - No duplicate. - "Using a multi-line telephone console or a cordless telephone with headset" - No duplicate. - "Bending, twisting, and positioning self to retrieve items above and below" - No duplicate. - "Perform repetitive motion to operate, prepare, or detect" - No duplicate. - "Manueuver items (above and below shoulder level)" (typo) - No duplicate. - "Working outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions (e.g. rain, strong winds, heat, and cold)" - No duplicate. - "Transport and manueuver up to 50 pounds of equipment or work related materials" - No duplicate. - "Ascend up and descend down/transcend stairs, ladders, stoops, slopes" - No duplicate. - "Dressing appropriately for working in the field, including proper use of personal protective equipment (safety boots, protective suits, hearing protection, respiratory protection, safety eyewear, hard hat, cooling vests, gloves, etc.)." - No duplicate. - "Traveling via private, state vehicle, or public transportation (i.e. automobile, airplane, etc.) including overnight travel inside California may be required" - No duplicate. - "Must be able to inspect, perceive, and identify" - No duplicate. - "Possession of a valid California Driver’s license and car insurance." - No duplicate. - "Ability to travel (driving for extended periods of time, commercial flights, etc.) within the defined area of the District Office and within California for the purpose of conducting field work, attending internal meetings, and attending training, including overnight to multiple night stays." - No duplicate. Thus no exact duplicates. Now we need to decide sections. Potential sections: - About the role (intro paragraph) - Responsibilities (duties list) - Working Conditions (maybe as part of Responsibilities? Could be separate but we have heading "Responsibilities" for duties; "Working Conditions" not in allowed headings list. The allowed headings are About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we cannot create a "Working Conditions" heading; we must fit that content under one of those headings. Perhaps under Responsibilities (since it's about job duties and conditions) or Requirements (physical demands). The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could combine duties and working conditions under Responsibilities. Or we could have Responsibilities for duties, and Requirements for qualifications/eligibility/physical demands. Let's think. The posting includes: "Working Conditions This job is located at: ... Primarily the work will be in an office environment and some work will be at a field site that has the potential for exposures to safety and hazardous substances, and may involve including but not limited to: [list]" This is about work environment and physical demands. Could be considered part of Responsibilities (what you will do) or Requirements (what you need to be able to do). Since we have a heading "Requirements" for qualifications, maybe we put physical demands under Requirements. But the instruction says use
        • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can have separate lists under appropriate headings. Thus we could have:

          About the role

          Intro paragraph.

          Responsibilities

          • Supervises, plans, schedules, directs, assigns, evaluates, and reviews the work of a multi-disciplinary staff...
          • ... etc.

          Requirements

          Minimum qualifications: ...

          • Eligibility: individuals who are currently in the
