Senior Roadway Engineer
About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and manage horizontal and vertical alignments
- Develop roadway plans and profiles
- Evaluate roadside elements
- Maintain traffic design
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Develop technical reports
- Manage and mentor staff
- Manage business development
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree (ABET accredited)
- A minimum of 16 years of roadway and project management design experience in Pennsylvania
- Licensed as a Pennsylvania Registered Professional Engineer
- Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD
- Excellent reputation as an engineering professional
- Experience in business development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional communication, technical writing, and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
