About the role
The Senior Roadway Engineer position is responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving roadways to ensure safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement roadway design projects
- Conduct site inspections and gather necessary data for project planning
- Collaborate with other engineers and departments to address complex engineering challenges
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in roadway engineering
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD and GIS
