Responsibilities

  • Leading the Commercial Bank Policy Office: writing, updating, and socializing relevant policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide support for Regulatory Change Management: assisting in the research, analysis, and documentation of the impacts of new or changed Federal and State laws, rules, regulations, and resulting legal requirements to Commercial Bank products and services.
  • Aid in the assessment of risks associated with foreign borrowers and regulatory requirements for the Commercial Bank’s Cross Border Banking program.
  • Assist in Country Risk Assessments and drafting Country Exit Plans for in-scope countries.
  • Drive strategic reporting: providing comprehensive support for reporting routines, ensuring metrics are accurate and actionable for senior executive stakeholders.
  • Operational excellence: leading daily task execution across the team’s full scope, ensuring consistent delivery against project milestones and operational requirements.
  • Operational continuity: serving as the primary coverage resource for key team functions during periods of transition or leave, minimizing disruptions to critical workstreams.
  • Horizontal engagement model: developing and documenting a horizontal engagement model to clarify roles, interactions, and responsibilities across team functions, moving from reactive to proactive program management.
  • Collaborate with partners within Commercial Risk, Compliance, Legal, and various groups across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of Financial Services or Risk Management experience
  • Preferred: Commercial Bank experience, at least 3 years of experience in a risk related role (audit, 1st line, 2nd line)
