Senior Risk and Loss Prevention Engineer/Specialist
Responsibilities
- Works with Project Team to coordinate timely completion of studies and assessments.
- Supports Advisor and Project Teams in coordination with EPCs for contractor led/facilitated assessments.
- Develops/Reviews study charters, carries out reviews and prepares reports.
- Follows up with action owners to progress Action Resolution Plan development and endorsement. Stewards and progresses action items to resolution.
- As needed, facilitates Company led studies/assessments.
- Review designs for new projects and upgrade of existing facilities for compliance with company and industry safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Offshore experience, particularly in the subsea area.
- Guideword HAZOP facilitation experience.
- Experience working with the client.
- Able to carry out consequence modelling (using DNV PHAST)
- Environmental, Health and Safety experience.
- Loss Prevention experience.
- Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
- Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
