About the role
The Advanced Airborne RF Sensors team within the Space & Airborne Systems Engineering and Test Capability (SE&TC) Center is seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer to support integration and test of complex airborne RF sensor systems.
Responsibilities
- Support Maritime Radar Systems Product Lifecycle
- Radar Mode Engineering
- Testing, Integration and Flight Testing
- Perform Radar Mode Design
- Develop and execute test plans
- Evaluate system functions and interfaces
- Verify requirements leading up to final sell-off
- Build and exercise systems in the lab and in the field
- Analyze system performance
- Ensure our products operate flawlessly from first power-on through delivery
- Work directly with engineering teams across multiple specialties
- Make the entire system come together
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Radar Systems Engineering and Algorithm Development
- To include Radar Systems, Software Engineering, Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Mathematical/Radar Mode Algorithm Development, Analytic Techniques and Digital Simulation Models (DSM)
- Design and analyze Radar Receiver Architectures and Radar Mode Designs
- Embedded GPS/INS (EGI) Systems
- MATLAB and C or C++ (coding experience required)

- Salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD
