About the Role
Responsible for the design, integration, validation, and lifecycle support of GNSS/GPS receiver, antenna, and RF front-end solutions. Lead product development from concept through production while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Wireless communications expertise supports integrated positioning and connectivity solutions.
Responsibilities
- GNSS/GPS Receiver Design
- Design multi-constellation GNSS receivers supporting GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou.
- Develop RF front-end architectures including LNAs, filters, matching networks, RF switches, and timing circuits.
- Optimize sensitivity, tracking performance, positioning accuracy, and interference immunity.
- Support RTK, navigation, and timing solutions.
- Antenna Design & Integration
- Design and integrate patch, helical, ceramic, chip, active, and passive GNSS antennas.
- Perform antenna tuning, impedance matching, ground-plane optimization, and radiation pattern evaluation.
- Support coexistence with cellular and other wireless technologies.
- RF Design & Validation
- Design and analyze RF receiver circuits and subsystems.
- Perform RF simulations and measurements using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- Evaluate noise figure, gain, sensitivity, linearity, phase noise, and S-parameters.
- Document verification and test results.
- Wireless Communications Support
- Support RF transceiver design including LNAs, filters, mixers, synthesizers, and VCOs.
- Contribute to cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ISM-band, and proprietary radio solutions.
- Evaluate GNSS and communications coexistence.
- Product Support & Leadership
- Support manufacturing transfer and resolve production or field issues.
- Lead root-cause investigations and sustaining engineering activities.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians, designers, and junior engineers.
- Evaluate emerging GNSS, RF, and wireless technologies.
