Senior RF Engineering Lab Technician

Temporary full-time position located in San Diego, CA (92121). Estimated duration: 3 months. Onsite, 9 AM – 5 PM shift.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support RF hardware development in a fast-paced engineering lab. This is a hands-on role focused on RF test setup, equipment assembly, PCB rework, and overall laboratory support. The ideal candidate enjoys working with hardware, has strong troubleshooting skills, and is comfortable maintaining an organized engineering lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RF test setups based on engineering instructions
• Support rack assembly according to provided specifications
• Maintain lab equipment, inventory, and engineering workspaces across multiple projects
• Handle and arrange lab inventory, including lifting heavy machines, managing soldering stations, test setups, and cables
• Perform PCB rework, including soldering 0201 components

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Technician, RF Lab Technician, or Electronics Technician supporting engineering or R&D environments
• Familiarity with RF lab equipment
• Experience with soldering, including 0201 components (5 years desired)
• Comfortable lifting and moving heavy lab equipment
• Must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States

Pay

Hourly rate: $62.68
