Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst

About the role

The Revenue Cycle Senior Analyst will establish and execute a vision for the delivery of information and analytics to key stakeholders that elevates the organization’s financial and operational performance. Key responsibilities include back-end acute operational support, such as working on the business acute back-end coordinator, Acute back end KPI Scorecard, executive status, cash performance metrics, Acute back end TIPS reporting, various reporting needs for Acute back-end operations, Acute back-end project coordination/support, and performance monitoring, analyst and notification.

Responsibilities

• Hold, lead, and attend routine meetings with various levels of stakeholders to drive needed outcomes
• Serve as the Working on the Business (WOTB) coordinator for Acute Back End Operations and ensure items are delivered on time and accurately as a result
• Create executive summaries based on data and initiatives
• Create net new reports as needed for operational performance
• Provide TIPS reporting, review and analysis and provide to leadership for alignment on next steps
• Support BE Operational leadership with centralized reporting needs and projects
• Coordinate/complete ad hoc requests from operations and executive leaders as needed
• Responsible for Acute Back End Engagement and Performance to include Service Level Agreement (SLA) tracking and reconciliation; Performance Monitoring; Internal Corporate wide Communications; Compilation of financial, KPI, SLA, operational opportunities to enhance client outcomes
• Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable Management to determine progress against strategic plans
• Identify and report financial/operational opportunities and cost savings measures
• Ensure effective monitoring and reporting controls are in place to improve performance
• Evaluate current processes and tools and propose changes in order to drive efficiencies within the organization
• Coordinate operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project resources
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope and all barriers are communicated to the appropriate parties
• Perform risk analyses to minimize project risks
• Effectively communicate with project stakeholders to ensure that they are adequately informed on the project’s progress
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Prepare proformas regarding changes in service lines and/or staffing structure
• Anticipate executive leadership needs by gathering records, reports, data and correspondence for accurate reporting, prepares various documents and handles confidential matters, provides ad hoc reporting for when requested, coordinates and plans special training sessions
• Works with members of analytics to research data nuances, determine patterns, quantify and communicate impact, and propose solutions for registration issues
• Responsible for verification of the accuracy of the data being reported
• Analyzes variances and trends to identify problems and/or trend

Requirements

• Proficiency with MS Access and Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Proficiency with Business Objects
• Proficiency with SQL
• Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI to lean in to process and technological improvements, to include the exploration, experimentation, and application of AI

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience

Pay

This position pays between $63,100 to $94,650 based on experience.

Schedule

This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.
