Senior Revenue Accountant

We’re looking for a someone to assist in the day-to-day transactions as a part of our revenue accounting team and to support our growing global company. What You'll Do Work cross functionally to drive process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations related to revenue accounting and improve the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes including internal controlsProvide supporting documentation for internal, external, and other ad-hoc audit requests for areas of responsibility.Assist in the order to cash process, reviewing submitted sales orders in our accounting system to ensure proper revenue recognition and complianceReview the Accounts Receivable aging and support recommendations for allowances and write offs as appropriateWork directly with our sales and account management teams to obtain needed data and reporting to support monthly revenue entriesAssist with the month end close review process, including month over month and quarter over quarter fluctuation analysisPrepare accounting entries and reconciliations related to deferred revenue and unbilled entriesMaintain and update internal process documentation for existing accounting procedures and policiesPerform special project, analysis, and ad hoc reporting as needed What We Believe Are Important Traits For This Role BS in Finance or Accounting3+ years of relevant experienceComprehension of GAAP and other authoritative guidanceNetsuite or similar ERP system experience required, specifically a system with an advanced revenue moduleProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google SheetsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple tasks at onceStrong time management and organizational skillsResults focused while ensuring weekly/monthly billing deadlines are metStrong communication and interpersonal skills. Our annual base compensation for this role ranges from $122,400 - $160,000 for most US locations and 5% to 10% higher for US locations with a higher cost of labor. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.
