Job Title: Senior Revenue Accountant Industry: Technology Location: Palo Alto, CA Top 3 Skills Revenue recognition under ASC 606 SOX control workpaper preparation NetSuite month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations What You ll Do Prepare and maintain audit-ready SOX control workbooks, validating input data from system reports and seeing each workbook through to completion Run monthly close activities in NetSuite, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and close deliverables Prepare deal and contract summaries for significant transactions under ASC 606 Support revenue close validations and rebate accounting Support collections forecasting and accounts receivable management Help prepare quarterly AR and revenue footnotes, with supporting schedules that tie to the general ledger Prepare supporting schedules for the financial reporting process Participate in UAT and post-launch validation for new product and service implementations Work cross-functionally to streamline order-to-cash and resolve complex billing bottlenecks Support revenue accounting, order-to-cash, and process improvement projects What We Need From You Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years in revenue accounting, accounts receivable, or both Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and SOX, including control workpapers that stand on their own under audit review Hands-on collections experience and AR analysis Proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce, plus advanced spreadsheet work with complex formulas, data validation, and large data sets Preferred / Bonus Big 4 public accounting experience CPA
