Senior Retail Finance Manager
Job Summary
This position supports the Retail division strategies, leads financial analysis, and owns budgeting/planning processes. It involves creating and communicating financial statements forecasts, collaborating on new strategies, and fostering continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead creation, analysis, and communication of Retail division financial statement forecasts (P&L and Balance Sheet).
Partner with Accounting, Commercial Finance, and S&OP teams to analyze variances and improve forecasts.
Communicate with executive management to ensure understanding of financial goals and KPIs, measure performance, and identify risks and opportunities.
Analyze divisional data to derive insights and make value-creating recommendations.
Create and own capital appropriation requests, including financial analyses.
Collaborate on new strategies, business plans, and execute recommendations.
Support monthly reporting and quarterly business review presentations with the Executive Team.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Good collaboration skills and ability to work in multi-functional groups.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Up to 10% travel required.
Preferred Requirements
MBA
FP&A experience in Retail, Consumer Products, or Durable Products industries.
Experience with accounting ERP systems and consolidation systems, such as JDE or Planful.
Experience with data analytics tools, such as DOMO.
Scope & Impact
The position supports the financial operations of the Retail division, which has over 175 retail locations and generates over $850 million in revenue. The role will partner with the Retail Leadership Team to achieve ambitious objectives and own the forecasting/budgeting effort for the division, including preparation of the Annual Operating Plan.
