Responsibilities

• Meets at least bi-weekly with assigned students.
• Manages student incidents to protect all students from harm.
• Documents individual meetings with students to address issues and express plans to resolve problems.
• Notifies other staff to coordinate services by memo, phone, or personal conversation.
• Conducts dormitory inspections that yield acceptable ratings.
• Actively participates in events, demonstrating professional behaviors for students and modeling employment skills.
• Completes assignments within time frames and rarely needs correction.
• Maintains students' folders with up-to-date history of services provided to ensure success in attaining both long and short-term goals.
• Ensures student data is accurate and submitted within established time frames.
• Follows all procedures for medical and AWOL removal logs within established time frames.
• Makes regular entries in dorm logs indicating conditions of dorms during rounds.
• Ensures all accountability documents and reports are accurate and submitted within established time frames.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Some college in Human Services area preferred.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training.
