Senior Research Designer (Contract Pool)

About the role

Senior Designers contribute to the success of client projects while helping build our culture and design practice. Senior Designers are passionate about finding the right design methodologies to craft unique approaches to challenging client projects. They help project teams with everything from uncovering actionable insights around customers to designing compelling digital products and services grounded in user value. They are versatile to help determine project strategy, mentor teammates, and create client deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Uncover actionable insights around customers through research
• Design digital products and services grounded in user value
• Determine project strategy and mentor teammates
• Create client deliverables
• Communicate effectively with technology teams and other stakeholder groups
• Drive research planning, execution, and synthesis

Requirements

• Professional design experience (consulting/agency experience is a plus)
• Rich understanding of the end-to-end design process
• Evidence of using appropriate UX research methods to inform design
• Comfort driving research planning, execution, and synthesis
• Enthusiasm to learn in and out of your primary domain
• Drive and autonomy to work well independently in a remote environment
• Ease for communication and collaboration during team working sessions
