Senior UI Designer (Contract Pool)

Responsibilities

• Help project teams with everything from uncovering actionable insights around customers to designing the most compelling digital products and services grounded in user value.
• Determine project strategy and mentor teammates.
• Create client deliverables.

Requirements

• Professional design experience (consulting/agency experience is extra handy)
• A rich understanding of the end-to-end design process and evidence of using appropriate methods to inform a visual design system
• Experience in communicating with technology teams and other stakeholder groups
• Comfort in crafting new visual language or extending an existing design system
• Comfortable in delivering production-ready specifications for technology
• The drive and autonomy to work well independently in a remote environment (at least for now!) but also an ease for communication and collaboration during team working sessions

• A passion for design methodologies and unique approaches to challenging client projects
• Able to work well independently in a remote environment
• Willingness to explore all avenues of human-centered design
• Willingness to potentially move to a full-time role within the first three months

Skills

• Strong visual design skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with user research and usability testing
• Knowledge of design systems and frameworks
