Senior Remediation Construction Manager - Downstream & Legacy Sites
Responsibilities
- Construction Management: for our environmental construction, site remediation, civil construction, and decommissioning projects with a key oil and gas client in the US West Region.
- Additional project opportunities exist in water (i.e. pumping stations, pipelines, treatment facilities, etc.), transportation (roads, trails, traffic improvements), as well as coastal, environmental, energy.
- Develop, deliver, and manage budget plans and schedules for construction projects.
- Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Conduct complex feasibility studies from technological, financial, and organizational perspectives on bid solicitation, including request for proposal (RFP) and request for tender (RFT) project requirements, and review specifications for tenders.
- Monitor and review performance and behaviors within area of responsibility to identify and resolve noncompliance with the organization's policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct.
- Manage important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues or oversee relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience as Construction Manager and/or Resident Engineer on multiple simultaneous construction projects.
- CCM certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus, although not required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and management experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of construction regulations and best practice.
- Ability to provide specialist professional advice relating to constructability, cost evaluations, and sequencing for environmental and civil construction projects.
- Experience with web based document management systems.
Benefits
Salary Range: $97,500.00 - $162,500.00 based on experience and location.
