Senior Reliability Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Lead individual and team efforts pertinent to reliability and sustainment programs.
  • Apply and develop research techniques and expertise to perform assigned tasks and participate with teams in evaluating maintenance and technical data, gathering of field maintenance issues, identifying trends, determining system reliability and availability of components, and recommending changes to the technical data and scheduled maintenance program.
  • Investigate and coordinate with engineering to determine root cause of failures and possible resolutions to increase component and system reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and increase aircraft availability.
  • Ensure tasks are accomplished within cost, schedule, and performance requirements of the work effort.
  • May prepare and present formal and informal briefings.

Requirements

  • US citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • A high school diploma or an Associate’s degree and 15 years of directly related experience in aircraft systems such as electrical and environmental, communication and navigation, guidance and control, electronic countermeasures or mechanical systems; or a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 9 years of directly related experience; or a Master’s degree in a technical discipline and 8 years of directly related experience.
  • Experience developing products using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with the C-130 aircraft.
  • Experience in data evaluation, interpretation, and analysis for creating recommended actions.
  • Technical and specialized knowledge in Reliability Centered Maintenance, Condition Based Maintenance, and/or Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG-3).
