Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Systems, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred, other engineering disciplines will be considered with commensurate reliability experience.Master's degree desired.10 to 15 years of Reliability experience required. Certified Reliability Engineer a plus Knowledge of Reliability standards required.Must have knowledge and experience developing Reliability Allocations and Predictions along with Reliability Block DiagramsAble to conduct DFMEA/FMECA and Fault Tree AnalysisDuty Cycle analysis and Endurance requirements experience preferredStrong negotiation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to meet objectives and performance metricsHigh standard of business ethics and professional conductHigh capability to operate autonomously and problem solve complex matters ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Reliability Engineer would be responsible for interfacing with the USG and program management on Reliability program procedures and deliverables regularly. The Senior Reliability Engineer would be responsible for coordinating the Reliability team's efforts on the project and developing Reliability deliverables.The successful candidate will be responsible for applying established reliability standards and methodologies to support system design and evaluation. This includes developing reliability allocations and predictions, creating and interpreting Reliability Block Diagrams, and conducting DFMEA/FMECA and fault tree analyses to identify and mitigate potential failure modes.The role will also involve performing duty cycle analyses and defining endurance requirements to ensure system performance over the intended lifecycle. In addition, the candidate will be expected to leverage strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex technical issues, utilize excellent oral and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and employ strong negotiation skills to influence design decisions and align cross-functional teams around reliability objectives.
