Wintrust provides community and commercial banking, specialty finance and wealth management services through its 16 bank charters and nine non-bank businesses. Serving clients in all 50 states with more than 200 branch banking locations in Illinois, southwestern Florida, northwestern Indiana, west Michigan and southern Wisconsin and commercial banking offices in Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, Mich., and in key branch banking locations throughout Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and retain key credit and deposit relationships for the Bank.
  • Develop relationships with Attorneys, Management Companies, Accountants, Reserve/Engineers, Insurance and other industry related professionals.
  • Perform credit analysis for existing and prospective commercial customers of the Bank.
  • Aid with the ongoing credit monitoring functions including financial statement review and loan covenant compliance.
  • Document loans and amendments.
  • Update CRM database activities.
  • Weekly calls updated in Outlook Calendar daily.
  • Handle special projects and other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Keep up to date with Compliance Training.
  • Portfolio Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business or related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years experience in a banking or related environment.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations with all levels of individuals within the organization and/or industry.
  • Highly proficient in Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn bank systems and other software.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to multitask; have a high attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • This position will also require a willingness to put in extra hours as needed to complete projects with deadlines.
  • Up to 5-10% of work time will include travel.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $117,000-$158,000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
