Senior Relationship Manager
About the Role
A Senior Relationship Manager at Capital One leads, manages, and motivates a small team of Relationship Managers (Credit Buyers) by guiding them to succeed, enabling them to meet and exceed their loan origination performance objectives. This role monitors and grants credit exceptions in accordance with Capital One policy and within individual credit level authority. The Senior Relationship Manager also provides training, coaching, and guidance to ensure effective understanding and adherence to all essential sales processes.
In addition to providing management oversight, the Senior Relationship Manager directly manages a territory of dealers, driving business results through ongoing relationship building, negotiation, and decisioning of submitted applications.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of the team’s recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and development of associate talent.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
- At least 2 years of Financial Services Experience or Business to Business Sales Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in Indirect Auto Finance
- 2+ years of experience in Credit Underwriting
- 3+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing

Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
- Plano, TX: $109,900 - $125,400
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. The actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
