Senior Registered Pharmacy Technician

Location: Inpatient Pharmacy, Broward Health Medical Center, 1600 S. Andrews Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316

About the role

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the pharmacy technician assists in processing medication orders, medication preparation, and performs clerical or other technical functions that support the provision of quality pharmacy services to patients and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing medication orders.
• Prepare medications.
• Perform clerical or other technical functions supporting pharmacy services.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• State of FL Registered Pharmacy Technician certification.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (must be obtained within six months of hire).
• Florida Pharmacy Intern Permit may substitute for the above certification.
