Celebrating more than 60 years in the financial-services industry, Raymond James is seeking a detail-oriented, creative problem-solver to provide high-touch administrative support to Financial Advisors, their clients, and branch staff.
Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for a high volume of daily interactions—phone, email, in-person, virtual, and mail—handling basic inquiries, providing quotes, and scheduling meetings.
- Standardize best practices for new-client onboarding, large liquidity events, and private-placement investment monitoring.
- Execute discretionary and non-discretionary trading, maintain models, and track performance.
- Service alternative investments and foreign accounts, including setup and ongoing maintenance.
- Participate in live client meetings alongside the Financial Advisor.
- Manage Financial Advisor expense budgets and tracking.
- Create reports to identify key practice metrics and implement process improvements.
- Onboard new clients, open accounts, and research client/security information using internal databases.
- Ensure client documentation complies with firm and industry regulations.
- Work independently and collaboratively to support the branch office.
- Solicit and enter client orders at the direction of the Financial Advisor.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including seminars, mailings, and client-facing events.
- Engage in training, cross-training, and professional-development opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members and help streamline team workflow.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus five years of financial-services experience (or equivalent combination approved by HR).
- Active SIE (or grandfathered exemption).
- Active Series 7.
- Series 63, 65, and/or 66 as required by state; ability to obtain additional state registrations if needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software, goal-planning tools, and Excel (including spreadsheet development and reporting).
- Strong written and verbal communication across multiple platforms (in-person, virtual, phone, mail).
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and track multiple detailed tasks with shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical skills to research account information and resolve errors or concerns.
- Mathematical aptitude sufficient for processing account and transaction data.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively at all organizational levels, both independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-service orientation and ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Pay
Total compensation includes base salary or wages and may include additional cash or equity components, discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
