About the role

The Senior Recruiter will support a specific team/function within AbbVie, focusing on attracting top talent and developing a strong candidate pool. Responsibilities include pre-screening candidates, project management, sourcing strategies, and providing talent for open positions. They will also manage open requisitions, update and manage SmartRecruiters, and ensure compliance with state/federal employment laws and AbbVie policies.

Responsibilities

  • Attract top talent and develop a strong, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings.
  • Pre-screen candidates and manage talent pools aligned to business priorities.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies.
  • Manage open requisitions and update SmartRecruiters.
  • Provide talent for open positions.
  • Compile and communicate knowledge base, industry overviews, and market trends to team members and business leaders.
  • Prepare and approve offer packages, providing equity & market competitiveness data research.
  • Ensure compliance with state/federal employment laws and AbbVie policies.
  • Establish a business partnership with hiring managers and leadership on all staffing-related activities and issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5+ years recruitment experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment required.
  • 7+ years recruiting experience preferred.
  • Project a strong business presence and instill confidence in clients and deliver results.
  • Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience required.
  • Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry recruitment experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in managing requisitions within SmartRecruiters preferred.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
