About the role
The Technical Recruiter will play a crucial role in the hyper-growth of Klaviyo, building relationships with engineering leaders and contributing to the company's talent acquisition efforts.
Responsibilities
- Build pipelines of candidates through proactive market research, targeted outreach, and strong candidate experience
- Own the entire recruiting process, from sourcing to closing offers
- Engage with and hire exceptional engineers to scale Klaviyo's product and platform
- Draw insights from analytics to make the recruiting process smarter and more efficient
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and increase capacity for high-impact technical hiring
Requirements
- 7+ years of recruiting experience, with significant experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or related technical disciplines
- Strong sourcing expertise and passion for identifying passive technical talent
- Ability to assess technical resumes and career trajectories
- Working knowledge of engineering roles, tech stacks, and terminology
- Data-driven approach to managing pipelines and measuring recruiting performance
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
- High level of ownership, accountability, and sound judgment

- Empathy and customer-first approach to building lasting relationships with candidates and engineering hiring managers
- Ability to influence and advise senior technical stakeholders on role scoping, leveling, and engineering talent market dynamics

Schedule
This is an hourly role based in our Boston office. Up to 10% travel may be required for new hire onboarding, client or partner work, team meetings, and industry events.
