Responsibilities

• Conduct full life-cycle staffing/recruiting companywide or on assigned portfolio of positions.
• Discuss long-range professional and technical personnel needs with management and provide candidate recommendations.
• May direct assigned staff on projects; work independently using industry knowledge and professional guidelines to accomplish goals and solve complex problems.
• Source, screen, interview, and close applicants; develop and implement recruiting strategies to identify qualified candidates.
• Provide offer strategy and assist in high-level negotiations for mid to senior-level positions.
• Develop advertising campaigns and programs; identify candidates for highly specialized and difficult-to-attract positions using creative recruiting methods.
• Expert use of internet search tools, industry resources, and online marketing; stay aware of industry trends.
• Advise on and develop operational procedures and tools to improve recruiting services; assist in vendor selection, implementation, and budgeting.
• Partner with and advise hiring managers on the hiring process, including offer strategy, negotiations, and job requisition details.
• Establish credibility as a Recruitment subject matter expert (SME).
• Review job descriptions to ensure proper advertisement format for internet job postings and niche sites.
• Effectively screen and interview candidates to assess skill and cultural fit.
• Maintain knowledge of company industry, related industries, business supported, and market demographics.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview and hiring process.
• Lead or direct interview scheduling and maintain timely updates in the applicant tracking system.
• Ensure regulatory and company policy compliance.
• Participate in and lead recruiting process improvement efforts; develop and disseminate industry best practices to hiring managers and team.
• Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects; participate in pre-task planning and report safety issues to management.
• Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and 10 years of professional staffing and recruiting experience in an engineering consulting firm or related corporate environment, with knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. OR, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 14 years’ related experience.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system (Oracle Fusion preferred).
• Expertise in multiple creative sourcing techniques for active and passive applicants.
• Familiarity with social networking (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and related platforms).
• Experience developing and executing recruiting assignments for complex, hard-to-fill positions.
• Ability to market and convey a company’s goals/directives to potential candidates.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting within the A/E/C (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry.
• Certifications such as CIR (Certified Internet Researcher), LinkedIn Certified Recruiter, or similar.
