Senior Recruiter
About the Role
The Senior Recruiter, Talent Acquisition will have the unique opportunity to build, develop, and execute full life-cycle talent acquisition for Carvana’s Operations teams. You will act as a direct extension of our hiring leaders and serve as the primary touchpoint for candidates from initial outreach through the offer stage, ensuring a stellar candidate experience. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day in a unique and exciting, talent-driven company.
Responsibilities
- Independently source candidates through various methods such as social media, Indeed, and the Carvana website.
- Conduct in-depth screenings and interviews via phone.
- Provide resumes and screening notes for hiring manager interviews.
- Conduct talent/skills, role-fit, and culture-fit assessments and advise the business accordingly.
- Manage candidate expectations regarding the background check process, working with both candidates and colleagues to ensure successful hires.
- Develop hiring leader relationships and a strong understanding of the Operations team(s) business and gaps, advising on effective hiring strategies.
- Focus on a high conversion rate from interview to offer.
- Help build a stronger company every day.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle and high-volume recruiting experience.
- Experience using recruiting applications and creative methods to source qualified candidates (we use Greenhouse and Tenstreet ATS).
- Experience working with hiring managers and adapting sourcing strategies to match team needs.
- Experience supporting leadership roles.
- Ability to operate with a sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable with change and easily adaptable.
- Bachelor’s/Associate’s Degree required.
Qualifications

Important Details: This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, at our corporate HQ in Tempe, Arizona. Upon hire, a six-month review and assessment period is required to ensure consistent performance and competency standards.
