Role Overview
Performs diagnostic imaging exams and radiology tasks, providing leadership and daily workflow management within the technical team. Ensures departmental compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Assists in orienting new staff, including caregivers, technologists, and students.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of formal radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved program.
- Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least 2 years of radiology experience with increasing responsibility.
- Preferred: EPIC/Radiant experience and leadership/training background in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately.
- Lead and coordinate daily technical operations.
- Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Support onboarding and training of new staff and students.
