Senior Radiation Therapist Per Diem, Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Aids in dosimetric calculations, treatment planning, quality assurance, and data input into the system.
• Radiates patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Serves as a technical specialist on daily tasks and cases.
• Models and mentors staff on technical skills.

Requirements

• Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in radiation oncology or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred Master's Degree: Preferred Three years' radiation therapy experience: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T) and Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT): Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred ARRRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T): Required Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (TRT): Required Department Specific License/Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
