Senior Radiation Therapist (Per-Diem)

Purpose & Scope

Under general supervision is responsible for all aspects of technical and clinical duties in Radiation Oncology Department.

About the Role

Education: College diploma in radiological procedure is required.

Experience: Five Years Of Experience In Radiation Therapy Is Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and clinical duties in Radiation Oncology Department.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding radiation therapy procedures.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Document patient treatments accurately and timely.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.

Requirements

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy required.
• Current certification in radiation therapy from ARRT.
• Knowledge of radiation physics, dosimetry, and radiation safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting.
