About the role
CLA is growing and seeking to hire a Senior Associate – R&D Tax Credits to join our talented Federal Tax Strategies (FTS) team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist FTS leaders with the delivery of research and development (R&D) tax credit studies for various industries.
- Willingness to develop a deep understanding of various industries including Manufacturing, Agriculture, Construction, Healthcare and Technology.
- Demonstrated success in a business environment.
- Assist managers, directors, and principals with client consultations, technical interviews, calculation review, site visits, and report development.
- Mentor associates and other team members on their inspired career.
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
- Experience in business services or consulting preferred
- Eligible to sit for the CPA preferred

- California: $87,000.00 – $146,000.00
- Illinois: $74,000.00 – $131,000.00
- Massachusetts: $87,000.00 – $141,000.00
- Minnesota: $74,000.00 – $126,000.00
- New York: $96,000.00 – $146,000.00
- Virginia: $93,000.00 – $141,000.00
- Washington: $80,000.00 – $136,000.00
