Senior Quality Engineer (Onsite)

About the role
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive process control and improve the company’s quality and delivery signature. Visualize improvement opportunities and convert them into processes that meet aerospace quality standards.
Responsibilities
- With assistance from the Engineering Manager, determine justification, develop project schedules, and identify opportunities and risks associated with ideas; develop risk mitigation strategies to manage risk.
- Interface with various Engineering groups and Customer Support to resolve technical/quality issues related to engine manual repairs and other approved technical data.
- Investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions.
- Participate in various teams in support of the unit’s CORE (Customer Oriented, Results and Excellence) goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and 5 or more years' experience in a chemicals, engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality, or related environment OR a Master's Degree and minimum 3 or more years' experience in a chemicals, engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality, or related environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Engineering degree (chemical, manufacturing, material science, mechanical, etc.).
- Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as CORE/Six Sigma/LEAN.
Pay
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
