About the role

The Senior Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. This position is responsible for designing and implementing test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and recommending improvements to enhance product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
  • Analyze test results to identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand and address quality issues.
  • Document test cases and procedures for future reference and training purposes.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Support continuous integration and deployment processes to maintain quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and testing tools.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about software quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps principles.

Skills

  • Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
