Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify non-conformances and lead the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process.
• Utilize extensive experience in root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement effective corrective actions.
• Maintain the AS9100 quality management system.
• Provide quality engineering support to the manufacturing process, including problem-solving and process improvements.
• Train and mentor junior quality engineers and other team members on quality assurance processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in the space or aerospace industry.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is preferred.
• Proven experience with AS9100.
• Extensive experience with CAPA and non-conformances.
• Proven experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
