Senior Quality Engineer
About the role
The Senior Quality Engineer position offers an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military experience to a 3M career. You will collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world, driving quality tools in New Product Introduction (NPI) to accelerate projects while mitigating risk.
Responsibilities
- Tap into curiosity and collaborate with innovative 3Mers
- Support laboratory, products, processes, and systems
- Address customer complaints and work on corrective actions
- Investigate and analyze non-conforming product testing and disposition
- Drive product quality enhancement through continuous improvement methods
- Ensure commercialized product design intent and integrity
- Support change management related to design changes, supplier changes, or cost reduction efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Management, Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis, and/or Design Control
- Additional qualifications include a Master’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution, experience working with ISO9001:2015, experience working with suppliers in a quality improvement capacity, experience with statistical analysis, and manufacturing experience
- ASQ certification preferred
Qualifications

Pay & Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. Specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. Learn more at this link.
