About the role
This position can work remotely from anywhere within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Develops all project specific quality control (QC) plans for submission in alignment with project and company requirements.
- Builds strategic and effective relationships with site QC teams, project management team, specialty contractors, vendors, suppliers, user groups and others that reflect and support the Company’s core values and meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations.
- Negotiates with vendors as needed.
- Stays informed of new and changing Company procedures, policies, materials, technologies, techniques, and practices.
- Establishes and helps develop training for company quality control policies and processes.
- Understands and enforces NFPA 70E, interprets and implements protection settings, Arc Flash labeling, and PPE requirements to ensure safe electrical conditions.
- Prepares, distributes, and maintains daily reports summarizing information related to current project status.
- Reports all safety issues or concerns immediately to the designated safety personnel on site.
- Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.
- Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities.
- Promotes and models the Company mission, vision and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and providing high-quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in electrical engineering, building construction quality control, or a related field.
- USACE Quality Management for Contractors certification is required.
- CPR certification and OSHA 10 certifications are also required.
- Electrical Master’s License or similar electrical-related qualification is preferred.
- NFPA 70E & LOTO training will be required & provided through Click Safety.
- Minimum 8+ years of senior electrical quality control experience, plus experience and skills to read, analyze, and interpret electrical plans, blueprint drawings, specifications, technical data submittals, common scientific and technical journals.
- Extensive knowledge of construction, building and electrical codes.
- Familiarity with EM385, NESC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 101A and 101B, NFPA 780, LOTO procedures.
- Experience with and ability to professionally respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and customer representatives, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Able to effectively present information to clients, stakeholders, senior leadership, and site employees.
- Must have appropriate strong computer skills and be able to use information technology and specific applications to document and report, using required software.
- Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, then apply appropriate methods and procedures to create and facilitate applicable solutions and alleviate conflict.
- In-depth training and experience with LEAN methodologies and applications.
- Strong process orientation.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday.
Additional Information
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Occasional to extensive travel is required as needed.
