Senior QC Analyst

About the role

Croda is seeking a Senior QC Analyst to join our team in Alabaster, Alabama. This position is part of our ongoing commitment to using smart science to create a more sustainable future.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing using standard procedures
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Document and analyze data to ensure compliance
• Develop and write SOPs following GMP guidelines
• Train and mentor other analysts
• Interact with external and internal partners regarding test methods and results
• Prepare and maintain documentation for test verification or validation studies
• Recognize and document problems, initiate corrective actions
• Assist with procurement of supplies and materials
• Perform validation of QC assays
• Communicate issues and concerns to management
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of lab and storage areas
• Align individual performance goals with department goals
• Transfer knowledge of GMP guidelines to new protocols
• Comply with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline
• Relevant experience of 3+ years preferred
• Laboratory experience of 4+ years required
• Strong attention to detail
• High level of integrity and reliability
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
