Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for Qualys’ data platform and microservices applications.
• Analyze software requirements, technical specifications, and data workflows to design comprehensive test strategies.
• Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios for distributed systems, including backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases to validate data transformations, reporting outputs, and Business Intelligence workflows.
• Conduct defect analysis, debugging, and root cause identification and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues impacting system performance and data integrity.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing, automated deployments, and efficient release cycles within containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitor test execution and system performance, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports on defects, risks, and quality metrics, supporting continuous improvement of testing strategies and system reliability.
• Participate in the creation and enhancement of the continuous integration platform used to test all projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or the foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or related.
• Experience with: Automating framework architecture using Selenium/TestNG; Automating REST API testing using Postman; Root cause identification using SQL & Python-based log analysis; CI/CD pipeline orchestration within Docker & Kubernetes environments; and Data integrity validation across structured & unstructured sources.
