Senior QA Analyst (contract)

Location: Charlotte, NC • Duration: 6 months • Work Engagement: W2 • Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

About the role

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Business Execution and contribute to large-scale planning related to Business Execution deliverables. You will review and analyze moderately complex Business Execution challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, contribute to the resolution of issues, and consult with others to meet deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaboration with client personnel in Business Execution is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios based on user story acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and release testing.
• Review and validate test cases with Product Owners and project stakeholders.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Resolve testing ambiguities and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Coordinate and execute regression testing for every release.

Requirements

• Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• Experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Workday
  • ServiceNow
  • SQL Server Management Studio (SQL)
  • Jira
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience creating test cases, test scenarios, defect reports, and test execution summaries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting HR, document management, or enterprise repository applications.
• Knowledge of release management and regression testing processes.
• Familiarity with test management and reporting methodologies.
