Senior Python Software Engineer

About the role

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems.
• Develop and support personalized training programs for individual growth.
• Work on challenging projects with mission-focused customers.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify relevant information from data sources.

Requirements

• Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• 6+ years Software Engineering experience and a MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or 8+ years of experience and a BS Degree, or 10+ years of experience and an AA Degree, or +12 years of experience and a High School Diploma.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Skills

• Strong Python development skills.
• A minimum of 5 years of Python experience the past 5 years.
• AWS Experience.
• Gitlab CI/CD.
• Docker.
• Library Development/Maintenance.
• Experience in statistical analysis, data mining, advanced analytics, data management, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
• Experience with developing cyber security related analytics.
• Experience with running analytics against large data repositories.
• Work with SMEs to identify relevant information from data sources.
