Senior Python Full Stack Engineer with Agentic AI

Location: New York City, NY / Wilmington, DE – W2 candidates only. Local candidates required; face-to-face work is mandatory.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Python Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Agentic AI to join our team. This role focuses on building and optimizing software that integrates with AI agents, accelerating development through code optimization and robust system design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack Python applications with a focus on AI-driven code optimization.
• Participate in design discussions and perform code reviews to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, including Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Design and maintain REST APIs, NoSQL databases, and monitoring/alerting systems (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace).
• Integrate software with AI agents using frameworks such as MCP or Google ADK.
• Ensure robust testing (e.g., Junit, Mockito) and monitoring across applications.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in Python and full-stack development.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI, including building or integrating software with AI agents.
• Proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, testing frameworks (e.g., Junit, Mockito), and modern software development practices.
• Ability to participate in technical design discussions and perform thorough code reviews.
