Responsibilities

  • Execute a comprehensive engagement strategy focused on state-level technology initiatives
  • Advocate for the company’s interests in state legislatures and agencies
  • Monitor legislative developments for risks and opportunities in quantum research
  • Collaborate with regional sales to capture procurement opportunities
  • Engage with universities to foster innovative partnerships for academic use
  • Create state-specific messaging on quantum computing's economic impact
  • Represent the company in industry coalitions and technology councils
  • Provide strategic guidance on regulations and procurement cycles

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in State and Local Government Affairs, SLED Sales, or Public Policy
  • Bachelor's in Public Administration, Political Science, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of state procurement and budget processes
  • Ability to manage relationships with governors, CIOs, and university leaders
  • Exceptional presentation skills to convey technical value to policy makers

$128,445 – $167,497 annually
