Qualifications
- Masters degree in Psychology or related field
- Valid California Psychologist License
- Experience working with individuals in correctional settings
- Knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment modalities
- Ability to conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Experience with developmental disabilities
- Ability to perform moderate travel to other institutions
Responsibilities
Assist in gathering and analyzing data regarding performance measures for the DDP Program and MHSDS as assigned.
Assist in evaluating and reviewing the Mental Health programs at other institutions under the general direction of the Chief of Mental Health or Chief Psychologist.
Benefits
Recruitment and Retention Bonus may be available for clinicians newly hired with California Correctional Health Care Services. Individuals may be eligible to receive a $10,000 one-time recruitment and retention stipend and a monthly recruitment and retention differential totaling $20,000 during their first year with CCHCS.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
