Core Responsibilities

  • Lead business/enterprise-level, cross-functional proposal efforts from positioning through submission and interview.
  • Drive advanced strategy discussions, capture integration, reviews, and interview planning.
  • Manage complex contributor groups and specialized proposal resources.
  • Support marquee pursuits with executive visibility and high strategic importance.
  • Provide mentorship to Senior Proposal Manager I staff to support development.

  • ≥ 95% on-time completion of assigned proposal tasks and deliverables.
  • Sustains 100% on-time submission for assigned proposals.
  • Leads highly competitive, business/enterprise-level proposals with strong strategic alignment and quality.
  • Mentor proposal leaders and contributes to best practices and market-focused content.
  • Maintains strong executive-level collaboration and proposal team effectiveness.
  • Responds to team requests within same business day (≤ 24 hours).

Skills

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (including InDesign), and tools such as Salesforce or Power BI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience leading complex, high-value proposal efforts from capture/strategy planning through interview, preferably in an A/E/C or professional services environment.
  • Extensive experience mentoring proposal staff and influencing winning work strategy is expected.
